Adele is currently one of three Artists in Residence with Dance Source Houston. Together with Brian, she is using this residency to develop and premiere the next Form Believers work, to be premiered in Spring 2025. This work will take a deep dive into the genre of competition dance.

This experiential workshop at the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO)’s annual conference in Bellevue, WA, led participants through a number of improvisatory and choreographic tasks inspired by our latest work “Steps.” We explored the 7 essential movement tasks upon which ballet was built (as a move away from a highly codified steps), to suggest a more expansive and inclusive definition of ballet.

Our next dance work will premiere at the 2025 Barnstorm Festival in Houston, TX, with the support of Dance Source Houston’s Artist-in-Residence program. This work will take a deep dive into the genre of competition dance. Stay tuned for more info!
